Fire gutted three rented tenements that located at Jl GG Lembayung, RT 06/06, Duri Utara Urban Village, Tambora Sub-district, West Jakarta, Friday (10/21). Luckily, there was no casualty reported at the scene, but the loss reached hundreds of millions rupiah.

Eko Sumarno, a Firefighter of West Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept disclosed, fire broke out at around 3 AM. His side then sent 19 fire trucks to the scene.

"We managed to extinguish the flames approximately one and a half hour," he expressed, Friday (10/21).

He explains, fire destroyed three rented tenements owned by Mrs. Ida (50) and three motorcycles belong to the renter. The fire itself is triggered by electricity short-circuit.

"No casualties here, but the loss reaches hundreds of million rupiah," he finished.
